There’s something so magical about a Christmas tree farm. Rows and rows of beautiful evergreen trees, the smell of fresh pine, warm sunshine filtering through the branches, and that unmistakable feeling that Christmas is just around the corner.
It's one of my favorite settings for holiday photographs, and I'm excited to be bringing my Christmas Tree Farm Sessions back this November!
For just two days this month, we'll be surrounded by beautiful Christmas trees, creating photographs that feel natural, dreamy, and a little bit magical. Think cozy holiday memories, beautiful light, and plenty of room for the kids to simply be themselves.
A Little Christmas Magic in the Middle of San Diego
You don't need snow, a fireplace, or a winter wonderland to create beautiful Christmas photos. Sometimes, all you need is a gorgeous Christmas tree farm and that beautiful California light.
The trees create the most beautiful natural backdrop, with layers of green, soft light, and lovely little pathways that make every photograph feel like a story.
I love capturing a mix of photographs during these sessions. Some are a little more styled and traditional, perfect for your Christmas cards, while others are more candid: kids exploring between the trees, siblings hugging, parents stealing a moment together, and all those little interactions that make your family yours.
The result? A collection of images that feels like a little piece of Christmas magic.
Perfect for Families, Couples, Kids... and Dogs!
One of my favorite things about this location is how versatile it is.
Family photos: Bring everyone together for beautiful holiday portraits. We can capture the classic everyone-looking-at-the-camera photo, but we'll also make time for the fun, spontaneous moments.
Kids: Christmas tree farms are such a fun place for children. They can explore, wander between the trees, and just enjoy being kids. Those little moments often become some of my favorite photographs.
Couples: You don't need to have children to enjoy a Christmas session! This is a beautiful setting for couples who want something a little different for their holiday photos.
Dogs are welcome! Your four-legged family members can join the fun, too. Please make sure your dog is comfortable around other people and stays on a leash during the session.

These are limited seasonal sessions, and I'll only be at the Christmas tree farm for two days this November.
